Well we're all still waiting around to hear if the original Terminator is going to be making an appearance in T4. Arnold is still being coy about it himself, not confirming or denying if he'll be on our cinema screens next month.
He's basically said that he agreed to be in the movie aslong as he didn't have to do any physical acting. Being the Governor and all his schedule was too busy to take time out for filming, and he also made it clear that if wasn't filmed in California then he would not be making any appearances.
Arnold did an online chat with Bill Bradley a few days back and still insists that the developers at ILM are still trying to come up with the technology to take his image from T1 and map it into a brief scene in T4.
McG was also interviewed by MTV and when asked about the Arnold issue, he said it wasn't clear if Arnold would be in the movie or not. Now this is getting ridiculous. For months they claim to have been waiting for the effects team to generate new technology to make it possible for Arnold to be in the movie. But is that really true? McG said at Wondercon that Arnold loved the CG image of himself and wanted to do business!
Now it makes me think, are they waiting to confirm a deal on Arnold's cut for a part in the film? The facade of wiaitng to create the technology seems a little stale now for me. Either that or they're throwing up a smoke screen to make us think there is no Arnold, so we all have a nice little surprise when we go see it. Either way I'm getting bored of hearing the "we haven't worked the technology out yet" story. Which is kinda funny don't you think, when we've got a movie about the advancement of technology....
