Roland Kickinger to be New T-800?!

Roland Kickinger, who played Arnold Schwarzenegger in SEE ARNOLD RUN is apparently reprising his Arnold role once again...... by playing a T-800 in Terminator Salvation!!

This news surfaced from the blog on Kickinger.com but has not been officially confirmed by any T4 sources. However it has sparked some unahppy rants from Terminator fans already!

Nothing against Kickinger, but why would we see Terminators this early? Especially the 800 series?!! T4 is to be set around 2018 and we know that the first Terminators that appeared were the 600 series (with rubber skin!) in around the 2020's. If you go back to T1 and listen to Reese, you'll remember that he says the 800 series were new in the time that he came from... which was 2029!

"I am not stupid you know, they cannot make things like that yet!"

" Not yet, not for about fourty years..."

So why, oh why, would we be seeing advanced infiltrators 11 years early?! We can only hope Connor will be having flash backs from his childhood and early adulthood of his experience with the Terminators. But if so, it should be the ARNOLD model! It's easy enough to insert scenes from the previous movies...

Or perhaps it's a dream sequence where Connor has nightmares of what's to come? Remember, not all 800 series Terminators looked like Arnold. That was just the 101 model. Perhaps Killinger is a model 103 that Connor envisions seeing at some point in the future?

We don't know. What we do know is that if the Terminators are introduced in 2018, then this film is really going to suck, along with THAT rumored ending!
