Arnold Says: Stay in School, Ride a Tank! And saves Fainting Kid!

Schwarzenegger has also asked an Ohio museum to return his Austrian army tank so he can reward school children with rides in it.

The Austrian-born Terminator star plans to offer inner-city Los Angeles kids the chance to travel in the vintage military vehicle if they stay in school, work hard and avoid drugs.

Schwarzenegger and Warren Motts, the owner of Motts Military Museum in Ohio, obtained the M47 tank from the Austrian government and had it shipped to America in 1999. The actor drove the tank during his one-year of compulsory military service in Austria in 1965. The vehicle was initially displayed in a Columbus, Ohio shopping mall - outside one of Schwarzenegger's Planet Hollywood restaurants - before it found a more permanent home at the Motts Military Museum in nearby Groveport.

On February 19th of this year, the tank was transported to California, where it now awaits its new morale-boosting tour of duty.

Mott says, "I'm pleased we had the opportunity to have it and let people see it. It was neat to have a Hollywood connection."

Motts said that when the tank was removed from the museum, it was hoisted by crane onto a truck to be transported to California .

Aaron McLear, Schwarzenegger's press secretary, said the governor plans to store the tank at a private location.

Schwarzenegger said he had offered trips to his movie sets as an incentive to kids, but since he became governor and stopped making movies in 2003, he hasn't had anything enticing to offer.

He said children just aren't that excited about a tour of the state Capitol.

Schwarzenegger entered the army in 1965, at a time when one year of military service was compulsory in Austria.

Fainting Kid

The Oak has returned to his action star roots by rescuing a child who collapsed during one of his political speeches!

Theo Scott-Femenella fainted while Schwarzenegger was speaking at his Sacramento high school on Thursday. The star quickly leaped from the stage and swept him back to his feet.

The 12-year-old later said, "All of a sudden, I wake up and see Governor Schwarzenegger helping me up from the ground. I'm sure one side of me was thinking, 'Cool, the governor's helping me up.' But wait, 'I fainted in front of the Governor. Oh, no.'"
