SCHWARZENEGGER TURNS 60!

July 30th, 1947. Judgment Day. The day that the first machine rose from the ashes of Austria. The survivors of Judgment Day called this machine The Oak. It felt no remorse, no fear, no pain. It had one mission only. To become the world's greatest bodybuilder, Hollywood's biggest star and Governor of California. It succeeded. This machine was called.... ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER!!

Yes today is Arnold's 60th Birthday! Would you believe it?! 60 years old and not looking a day over 45!

Arnold has accomplished a lifetime of achievements. Starting out as a village boy from Austria, going on to become a record breaking bodybuilder, one of Hollywood's biggest names and best loved actors, and then the Governor of California, Arnold certainly takes his dreams seriously. Whatever he wants, he goes out and works his cyborg ass off to get it. It just goes to show that no matter how crazy your hopes and aspirations may seem, they are ALWAYS achievable! What next for Arnold? President of the United States?! We'll see!

In almost 4 years online GlobalArnold has had some fun celebrating Arnold's previous birthdays. If you look back at our 2005 page you'll see our bbq in celebration of Arnold's 58th birthday! We also had some fun writing that small scene where Arnold walks in on his own party!

This year, we thought we'd bring something new to GlobalArnold. And what better way to do it than redesigning the site?! After 4 years, we felt like a new look, we wanted to re-launch ourselves. So back to the drawing board we went and put all of our ideas down. Blood, sweat and tears went into hours of hard work. And here you can see the final design!! GLOBALARNOLD V 2.0!!

We'll be partying hard for the big man's six-o. Beers, stogies, and a stack full of Schwarzenegger DVD's. GET DOWN from in front of the tv, I can't see Arnold! SHUT UPPP, I can't hear! If you do that again you'll be making a BIG MISTAKE!!

We'll be posting pics of our Schwarzenegger Birthday party sometime later this week. We certainly hope you'll be partying hard, in honour of the Oak. Smoke a fine Cuban, pump some iron, and most importantly, you have to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR ARNOLD!!!
