T3: The Redemption – An introduction to the Characters!
As we told you back on August 6th , the all new T3: The Redemption video game is due out very shortly indeed. We have now teamed up with Electric Artists in a huge promotional campaign, to bring you all of the details and features of the game!
The game will be released on September 7th, 2004, on the XBOX, GameCube & Playstation 2. Unfortunately, there will be no PC version, we can now reveal. The game includes footage from the film itself, as well as CGI sequences shot especially for the game, that will tie up many loose ends in the storyline, including the T-850 being captured by human Resistance soldiers, Terminators being sent back through time in the Time Displacement Chamber,
and the T-850's memory chip being removed and "inserted" following the end of the movie!
Over the next 2 weeks, we'll be bringing you exclusive media such as game trailers, concept art, screenshots, video clips and more. You won't find this anywhere else on the web!
Today, we introduce you to the characters of T3: The Redemption . Some of them you will know already, some of them you will not. Familiar faces from the golden screen and all new battle units and machines, each and every one of them at your disposal!
First up, a character of whom without him, this game (or the movies) would not be possible. The star of all 3 Terminator movies (albeit slight model differences), the Terminator himself, the
T-850!

Star of all three movies (although the model number differs slightly in the movies), the T-850 is the original Terminator that we were first introduced to back in 1984. With an endoskeleton made from hyper alloys, covered in living human tissue, this cyborg looks just as human as anyone else… well, except maybe he looks a little more like a champion bodybuilder. The endoskeleton is a microprocessor controlled, fully armoured hyper-alloy combat chassis. In other words, very tough! T-850's do not feel pain, however they are able sense injuries, and repairs can be conducted when needed.
Second up is the newest, most deadly Terminator ever to walk the Earth. First introduced to us in 2003, in T3: Rise of the Machines, this Terminator was different from any other – it was in the form of a female. We bring you the mighty, the unbeatable, the unstoppable, T-X.

With liquid metal covering a hardened titanium endoskeleton, the T-X is the deadliest Terminator ever. It's faster, more intelligent and more powerful. The latest of Skynet's toys, the T-X endoskeleton is designed for extreme combat, driven by a miniature plasma reactor and equipped with an arsenal of onboard weapons including a built in plasma cannon, diamond tipped cutting blade and flamethrower to name but a few. It is capable of analysing DNA by sampling a small quantity of blood using sensors housed within its mouth. The T-X also uses nanotechnology, which allows it to control and reprogram other machines.
Next, we see the brand new FK Hunter. Similar to the original HK Tank Battle Units from the movies, the FK Hunter crawls about on two all-terrain caterpillar tracks that are equipped with individual suspension, providing increased stability on rough ground.

Equipped with ultra sensitive infrared sensors, search lights and dual plasma cannons mounted to turrets on each side that are able to rotate 360°, the FK Hunter is both a remarkable and dangerous battle unit. It features a centralised torso, which can be raised, lowered or rotated 360°, depending on the attack mode in use. When raised, the chasis can increase in speed and reduce the likelihood of any impact that may be sustained from debris.
Our final presentation today shows that of the FK Reaper, a class assault machine. It features a combat chassis design to enclose all of the internal wiring, circuitry and power connectors, making it more durable to damage. The mechanical joint assemblies are very robust and powerful, making the overall body structure more streamlined and fluid in movement.
Equipped with dual, head mounted optical sensors, the FK Reaper proves to be effective in both short and long range combat against Resistance fighters. Strengthened armour plating and artificial intelligence make it a very dangerous and hard-wearing unit. Supplied with a heavy plasma gun on it's right side and a flamethrower on the left, it's one machine that Resistance fighters won't want to get too close to!
Along with all of the above characters, T3: The Redemption also features the T-900 infiltrators, who prowl the future war battle fields, and human resistance leader John Connor and his wife, Kate Brewster .
