Cameron Names New Project!
James Cameron, director of many groundbreaking sci-fi movies such as The Terminator, T2 and Aliens, has finally announced his much anticipated and top secret project.
For some time now, Arnold fans across the globe have waited with excitement, after Cameron's announcement that his next project would be a “huge, groundbreaking 3D sci-fi experience”. Could Arnold be included in this project? Could it be a possible return to the Terminator franchise for Cameron?
Sadly, the answer is no.
Cameron has revealed that his next movie will be a futuristic 3D movie called 'Battle Angels'.
It's based upon a series of Japanese graphic novels. The venture is in its pre-production stage and Cameron expects filming to commence May/June 2005 and may last for up to two years. No casting announcement has yet been made.
Cameron : "It's based on a series of graphic novels done by a Japanese artist called Kishiro. It's going to be a combination of live action and computer graphics, but done photo-realistically. There will be CG characters and live-action characters."
The film will feature a staggering 1,500 visual effects shots using the 3D cameras Cameron used to shoot Imax film, Ghosts of the Abyss.
