Fan Made Terminator 3 Trailer!

It's been a few months now since 'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines' hit our cinemas (depending on where you live), and even longer since we first saw the trailers for it. On December 18th 2002, almost a full year ago now, we were given the first full trailer for T3. It was given mixed reactions, where some people loved it and others hated it.

We were treated to 2 more trailers after that, an international and a domestic one, as well as a load of tv spots which were broadcasted worldwide. Some fans even created their own teasers, using footage from the officially released trailers and tv spots, adding their own music in the background, and creating new title cards.

The hype of T3 may be over now, but the fan base is most definitely still there, as 17 year old
Imraan Gazdar has proved. He sent us his own fan made T3 trailer, telling of how he's been a Terminator fan since he was only a young child.

"When I was 8 years old, my brother rented a Hollywood movie instead of an Indian movie. I was so mad at him because I didn't like to see Hollywood movies, as I really loved indian movies. However, my opinion totally changed that day, because the movie my brother brought home was Terminator 2. I was totally amazed by it. I remember when I saw the chase between John Connor and the T-1000 in the canal banks, I was actually standing on my bed because I loved it so much, and I just couldn't keep still. I'd never seen a movie like it before in my life.

That was the day on which my love for the Terminator franchise was formed, and Arnold Schwarzenegger became my favourite actor. Even today he is still the best and I will truly miss his presence on the big screen. I really hope he will be back.

When I came to Canada, I started to use the internet, and through this I found out that they were planning to make T3. From 1998/1999, I followed the movement of T3, through the pre-production stages, right upto the release this year. The unique thing is, from watching Terminator 2, my mind was opened towards watching Hollywood movies, and I now plan to go into film directing. It all started from that day 10 years ago with T2. That is one of the main reasons I made this trailer. I wanted to learn about editing movies and trailers, and what would be better than making a Terminator 3 trailer?!

So this trailer is from an aspiring director and a huge Terminator fan. I hope everybody who sees this enjoys it, and please provide feedback on it. I won't mind negative criticism, because it will just inspire me to do better next time".
