Terminator 3 UK TV Premiere!

Just a little over a year since it's theatrical release, T3 is making it's television debut on UK screens!

Channel 5 will be the first UK channel to show the movie - beating off rivals Sky for the rights. It makes a first, as Sky, who normally show every new movie on tv, are a cable tv channel. Channel 5 is a basic terrestrial channel.

Movies like T3 usually take about 2/3 years to come to terrestrial tv, but not anymore! Five have signed an unprecedented (and no doubt hugely expensive) deal with Sony which gives them the rights to show several films - including T3 - before they appear on Sky.

Other movies which will hit Five before any other channel are Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Bad Boys 2, Anger Management, Maid in Manhattan and Daddy Day Care.

It's been Arnold season on Five for the past few days, with movies such as Last Action Hero, The Terminator, Conan The Barbarian & Conan The Destroyer being show. Tonight, T3 tops that off!

Five are also repeating a documentary showcasing the history of the Terminator saga and how it came back to the big screen after 12 long years, right after T3. This was shown last year before the theatrical release of T3, and features many UK Terminator fans!

So grab some popcorn, your black leather jacket and matching sunglasses and get ready to watch T3 blow terrestrial tv away! "Excellent!"
