Sarah Connor Chronicles Casting!

Sarah Connor is BACK!! But it's not LINDA HAMILTON playing the hardened warrior waitress this time around. Foxy British Babe LENA HEADEY will take the reigns as the mother of future Resistance leader in the new Terminator tv spin off, The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Headey has been in such productions as The Brothers Grimm, The Cave, Ripley's Game and Gossip.

According to The Hollywood Reporter , The Sarah Connor Chronicles hails from WBTV and C2 Pictures, the company of T3: Rise of the Machines producers Mario Kassar and Andrew Vajna. Written by Josh Friedman, it takes place after the events depicted in T2: Judgment Day and follows Sarah Connor, a modern warrior and loving single mother to 15-year-old son John.

David Nutter is directing the pilot, which is expected to film early next year. He is executive producing with Friedman, Kassar and Vajna.

As of yet, there's no word on who'll play 15-year-old John Connor..
