Arnold becomes 'THE EDITOR'!
It's been a while since our last update, but we're packed with news for you now!
The ARNOLD CLASSIC went down last week, the annual bodybuilding event held in Columbus Ohio, Canada. Unfortunately, GlobalArnold.com could not be there, but we have some BIG news to boast about from it!
Although he chose NOT to accept his salary as Governor, Arnold has accepted another job for his busy schedule, as executive editor of "Muscle & Fitness" and "Flex" magazines, which he announced at the Classic on Saturday.

"He has clearly demonstrated that he is fully engaged with the problems facing the state but he is going to continue certain relationships," spokesman Rob Stutzman told reporters in a conference call.
As the state faces a multi-billion dollar budget shortfall, Stutzman said the governor would only spend a nominal amount of time as executive editor of the publications, where he will attempt to promote healthy lifestyles, he said.
Although his spokesman declined to reveal how much Arnold will earn, we know he will receive a meaty paycheque for this job. Both magazines have also agreed to donate $250,000 annually to the Arnold's Council on Physical Fitness.
Arnold, a former Mr. Universe, Mr. World and 7 time Mr. Olympia has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the two bodybuilding magazines. He has appeared on their covers dozens of times and written a column for Muscle & Fitness for the past 10 years, something that he will continue to do now, also.

In other news, Arnold will be honoured as a movie Maverick by the ‘Cinequest' film festival.
The Cinequest organization, which oversees the 14th annual San Jose screening series, announced on Monday that it would present a special Maverick Spirit Award to "The Terminator" & “Conan” star on Wednesday at the San Jose State University campus. Tom McEnery, the former mayor of San Jose, will hold a conversation with Arnold, taking questions from the audience before the presentation. The award recognizes directors, producers, actors, cinematographers, editors and composers. Previous honourees include Alec Baldwin, Kevin Spacey and Jackie Chan.
And finally, to the movie news. Not exactly Arnold related, but sort of. The long awaited Aliens Vs Predator movie released it's first trailer today….but hours later it was taken offline. Not to worry
though, because GlobalArnold.com got a hold of it before it was removed, and we can show you some EXCLUSIVE pictures from it!
