T2 is UK's 2nd Favourite!
PEARL & DEAN, the UK's largest Cinema Advertising company have been running a poll on the nation's favourite movie sequels.
Listed were such greats as The Godfather Part II, Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back and James Cameron's ALIENS & T2: Judgment Day.
Well the polls have been counted and verified and there's a few shocks in store!
T2 came in at second position, with 18% of the votes, above all the before mentioned movies. However, it was pipped to the top spot by just 1%.... by SHREK 2!!

I must say, I'm disappointed that my home nation find a CG animated ogre more entertaining than a kick ass, time travelling, gun toting cyborg! But hey, at least T2 came in at a very respectable position, above some truly awesome movies!
However, I have noticed a floor in the poll.... the results only at up to 99%! Give T2 that added 1% more and it comes in joint top! HURRAH!!
But... it's not all great news. P&D also ran another poll on the worst Christmas movies that UK filmgoers have ever seen. And what came top? You guessed it, guys.... Schwarzenegger's 1996 festive comedy, Jingle All The Way.
An extremely harsh blow, with 21% of the voting. Looking down that catalog of Christmas blunders, there are some truly terrible movies, which should easily have topped the list. JATW was a fun, festive comedy, which was never meant to be taken seriously! Sure, it's not an Oscar winning motion picture, but it's something you can sit down with over the winter holidays and have a good old chuckle at! PUT DAT COOKIE DOWN, NOW!!
