Jingle All The Way is BACK!
Heads up Arnold fans – Jingle All The Way is BACK!!
The long-winded court battle between Twentieth Century Fox and high school teacher Brian Webster, is finally over. A federal judge ruled that Fox did NOT steal Webster's script for the 1996 movie.
Webster, a biology teacher from Detroit, claimed that the film studio stole his script, entitled “Could This Be Christmas”, and was awarded $19 million in 2001.
Fox, however, appealed against this decision, and it was finally reversed last week, some 3 years after “Jingle” DVDs and VHSs were ordered to be removed from shelves.
Expect to see them back in shops sometime soon, and let's hope we can get a Special Edition with those deleted scenes in too!

Arnold Reveals CA's New Coin!
Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed the design of California's new quarter. It shows conservationist John Muir, a California condor and Yosemite National Park's Half Dome Mountain on the coin's tails side. The "heads" side of the coin will continue to bear the likeness of George Washington, the first president of the USA.
Over 2 billion of these coins will be placed in national circulation, as from January 2005.
Arnold selected the coin from five finalists including images of sun and waves, a redwood tree, the Golden Gate Bridge and a gold panner. The winning design was by Los Angeles graphic artist Garrett Burke, 42.
"These three images will show California's wildlife, California's magnificent landscape and our commitment to preserving the Golden State for generations," Schwarzenegger said, unveiling a coin that emerged from thousands of designs submitted between September and November 2002.
Arnold spent two months reviewing the designs and personally added the condor to the coin as an example of an "amazing comeback", and wife Maria dubbed the coin the "people's quarter."

Governor Ale Pulled!
From Reuters…
A business advisor to Schwarzenegger said on Wednesday that lawyers for the Governor were quickly dispatched to stop plans by Portland Brewing Co. to sell Governator Ale with the Pumping Iron label.
Governator alludes to the series of "Terminator" movies in which Schwarzenegger battles futuristic machines out to control humanity, and "Pumping Iron" references the 1977 documentary about body building that helped make Schwarzenegger famous.
"Any unauthorized use of his name, voice or likeness has to be stopped," said Paul Wachter, the trustee of Schwarzenegger's blind trust. "If you don't stop it, his name, voice or likeness would become public domain, which would be a disaster personally and professionally."
Wachter said he does not believe the Oregon brewery thought it was breaking any laws with its Governator Ale, but noted the Hollywood-icon-turned-politician has long been quick to protect his image.
"Governor or not, we can't really change what we do because otherwise it would be open season," Wachter said. "He carefully reviews every commercial tie-in."
Portland Brewing Co. did not return telephone calls requesting an interview, but Wachter said the brewery has scrapped plans to bottle Governator Ale.
