HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARNOLD !!!

July 30th 2004: The day that all Arnold fans unite together and smoke stogies, whilst watching countless Arno flicks and singing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” to the man that we call our hero, the Austrian Oak, the Governor of California, the Terminator, the one, the only, Mr. ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER !!

Arnold is 57 today! Yes, that little boy who was born on this day back in 1947 in the village of Thal, Austria, is celebrating his birthday!

From an Army grunt to a World bodybuilding champion, to a Hollywood superstar, to the Governor of California! Arnold has had the life that many can only dream of.

We don't know just how Arnold will be celebrating this year, but we can bet it will be in style, with all friends and family present! Previous years have seen big birthday bashes with such names as James Cameron and Stan Winston present. When Arnold parties, he invites the crème de la crème, who just happen to be his close friends!

On this special day, Austria has a birthday present for its favourite son – a stamp! The Austrian postal service are honouring Arnold by commissioning a 1 Euro stamp, which will go into circulation today.

The stamp features a portrait of Schwarzenegger in a suit and tie in front of the U.S. and Austrian flags. It bears his name, with the word Austria in English and the number 100, signifying that it is worth 100 (European) cents.

Designed by Hannes Margreiter, the Schwarzenegger stamp is part of a collectors' series called "Austrians living abroad" and will be printed in 600,000 copies, the postal service said.
